USBSecure OT is an extended version of USBSecure Enterprise. In addition to the standard features
...the following features are available in the OT version:
Due to the high demand in the IT sector the following features were implemented in USBSecure OT 6.0:
Improved installation procedure for
standalone computers
Standalone computers without central management are used often in OT
environments. USBSecure OT offers the possibility to include the
complete configuration files during installation.
Local device logging
In OT environments, it is often of the utmost importance to be able
to track which devices have been connected to a computer. This greatly
simplifies troubleshooting. USBSecure OT logs every attempt to connect a
USB device or other devices to the computer.
Activation based on local user groups
Centralized management is often not possible in the OT environment.
Here it is useful to implement the activation of USB devices based on
local user groups.
Support for Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10 / 11
Due to the fact that OT environments often use outdated operating
systems, USBSecure OT provides support for this.

Different conditions can be found in the OT (Operational Technology) sector than in the IT sector. Older operating systems are often used in a sealed-off environment. The protection of USB and other interfaces is particularly important here. Most USB protection solutions available on the market require an extensive infrastructure, for example a server, a database or even access to the cloud. Lugrain USBSecure® OT does not require this infrastructure. It can be operated standalone or centrally managed - implemented only through a network share. A short summary:
USBSecure Enterprise runs as a Windows service on Windows 7, Windows 8 / 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 11. For proper user interaction USBSecure OT requires at least Dotnet Framework 3.5.
Here is a brief overview of the differences between USBSecure
